January is already flying by. We just finished our Football Unit and are moving forward with our year. Watching the kids play football games was exciting! They worked together as a team and created plays on their own to score touchdowns. Even though some of the girls had difficult time understanding the game, they were able to participate and some even scored a touchdown!
My goal is to get in as many units as we can and introduce some new sports. This year we are adding La Crosse. I will be teaching the kids basic skills and modified versions of the game to learn simple concepts. The La Crosse Unite will also be joined with Basketball. The primary grades have enjoyed modified activities with these units and love being able to start participating in a modified version of the sport.
