I am very excited that several students have expressed an interest in running the Thanksgiving 5k Turkey Trot with me on
Thursday, November 27th.
Parents, this is what I need from you:
Please go on this website: www.cclcf.org
to register your child for the race. Also, if you, or other family members would
like to run in this race, it would be great to have you participate as well!
The Turkey Trot begins at 8:30 am. We
will meet at Memorial Park by the playground structure before the race begins.
Please be at the structure at 7:45. I would love to take a group picture with
all the kids before we run!
Along with running this 5K, there is a
food drive that will be collecting items the day of the race. I would love for
each participant to donate to the food drive and participate in this community
event.
Don’t forget to wear
your LCE t-shirts for school pride!
Please remember to
keep running during the week everyday to stay in shape! We will also be running
at school as well!
